<br />Southeast Industrial Land Services Inc., Oconee County C &D Landfill, GA. Sr. Prj.
<br />Engineer. HDR conducted a hydrogeological study as part of a Site Acceptability Report
<br />submitted to the State of Georgia. HDR was previously involved in analyzing this site for the
<br />possibility of a landfill. The site was subsequently deemed acceptable for a construction and
<br />demolition landfill. Other responsibilities included public involvement, including
<br />participating in meetings with county commissioners, state regulators, and attorneys.
<br />Currently HDR is designing this C &D Landfill.
<br />St Johns County, Waste Transfer Station, FL. Sr. Project Engineer. HDR was retained by
<br />St. Johns County to design, permit and construct a new solid waste transfer station at a
<br />property located near US 1 and Stratton Road in St. Johns County, Florida. The transfer
<br />station facility was permitted and designed to handle a throughput of 1000 tons /day of
<br />municipal solid waste. St. Johns County required planning and layout of the facility to
<br />accommodate future rail operations, and required connection improvements to US -1 and
<br />railroad crossing upgrades.
