Energy Management Systems <br /> Orange County Schools <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 <br /> of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina,the following capital project is hereby adopted. <br /> Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to install computer controlled energy management <br /> direct digital systems to heating and air conditioning units at all schools in the District. <br /> Plans include a phased in approach as new boilers and other systems are replaced throughout <br /> the facilities. Proceeds from the Schools' portion of the 1997 voter approved bonds finance <br /> this project. <br /> Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the budget <br /> contained herein. <br /> Section 3. This ordinance supersedes all previous Energy Management Systems Capital Project <br /> Ordinances for the Orange County Schools System. <br /> Section 6.
