VOTE: Ayes, 5; <br /> Noes, 0. <br /> D-7 Appointments - School_ Task_ Fozpe <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners have appointed eighteen members to <br /> the School Capital Task Force, and there is a stated goal of twenty-five <br /> members <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall to appoint <br /> Milton Julian, Louise Baker, Thomas Shanklin, and Ed Riley to the School <br /> Capital Task Force. VOTE: Ayes, 5; Noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Whitted stated that he would contact Dick Sharpless regarding <br /> his willingness to chair the Committee and noted the need for the County <br /> Finance Office to serve as support staff for this Committee. <br /> D-8 prig C <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Whitted to (1) accept <br /> additional funds for the CETA IIB ABE program and to adjust the program's <br /> budget in accordance with the State's budget backup; and (2) accept the CETA <br /> IIB YWE program's deobligation of funds and to adjust the program's budget in <br /> accordance with the State's budget backup. VOTE: Ayes, 5; Noes, 0. <br /> D-9 Budgat Ames (see page for this amendment) <br /> Commissioner Marshall moved•, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit to accept <br /> the proposed amendments for Supplemental Family Planning and Maternal and Child <br /> Care. VOTE: Ayes, 5; Noes, 0. <br /> D-10 Added ment <br /> Commissioner Whitted stated that the annual meeting of the Triangle J <br /> Council of Governments will take place at the Jane S. McKimmon Center on <br /> September 18, 1983. Each members calendar schedule should be given to the <br /> Clerk tonight, indicating availability for interviewing the Clerk to the Board. <br /> Commissioner Whitted moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit to go into <br /> executive session to discuss acquisition of property.
