i 54C <br /> �v�.ar1 - aa�iviYlMeui++ai +rt!r�•.�F--n �..�-�-.��_u-.Y. ...-•.- .`r.... 1+. t_ (/��_-iJ]/tiv�� <br /> V V Y <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this .day of , <br /> 1983 and by and between the Town of Carrboro, a municipal <br /> corporation ("The Town") and Orange County, a body politic <br /> and corporate ("The County") . <br /> WHEREAS the Town and the County have entered into an <br /> agreement dated -----------------r pursuant to which the <br /> County will furnish certain coDputer services to the Town; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the County operates a computerized land <br /> records information system and wishes to make a terminal <br /> available for public use in Southern Orange County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town is willing to make space available <br /> for such a terminal in the Town Hall under the circumstances <br /> set forth below; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and <br /> mutual promises set forth below, the parties agree as <br /> follows: <br /> f, <br /> 1. The Town shall provide suitable space in the <br /> Carrboro Town Hall for the location of a terminal for the <br /> exclusive use of Orange County in connection with a land <br /> records information system. This shall be a location easily <br /> accessible to the public. The terminal shall be available <br /> to the public for land record inquiry during all hours of <br /> the normal business day. The Town shall provide a suitable <br /> table, chairs., lighting, heating and cooling of space and <br /> janitorial services. The Town shall take reasonable steps <br /> to insure the safety of the equipment and provide reasonable <br /> assistance to first time users who have completed initial. <br /> training, This traning is to be provided by the County in a <br /> Hillsborough location, Town employees are not expected to <br /> operate the terminal or produce information for the public, <br /> but are to provide assistance to public users. <br /> 2. The County shall provide to the Town at no cost the <br /> -use of one additional "port". and one additional CRT terminal <br /> in addition to those called for in the agreement between the <br /> parties for data processing services dated June 27, 1983. <br /> This port and terminal shall become a part of the agreed <br /> upon system and subject to all paragraphs contained in this <br /> agreement, except for paragraphs 12 and 13 (fees) . <br /> The foregoing agreement is executed in duplicate. <br /> originals this---------- day of ------------ 1983. <br /> TOWN OF CARREORO ORANGE COUNTY <br />
