4,x1 <br /> UIU <br /> 5. The County shall provide the same "software" maintenance services as <br /> provided other users of the Orange County Data Processing System, <br /> 6. The County shall make available to the Town all existing "software" <br /> operational programs or new programs or re-programming that may become available <br /> to other users of the Orange County Data Processing System. The County agrees <br /> to make such "cosmetic" changes, as may be required to meet the particular needs, <br /> of the-Town, such changes not to exceed.200 hours of programming. Additional <br /> programming is to be charged to the Town,at'�a rate not to exceed $20 per hour. <br /> The hourly charge may be adjusted at the end 'of each year of the agreement to <br /> reflect increase in cost. This adjustment may not exceed 5% per year. <br /> 7. The County shall provide required operator training for each program <br /> to be used by the Town. <br /> 8. The County shall provide necessary communication .linkage, including <br /> linkages between the Town's.Publ.i.c Works garage located on Highway 54 at <br /> Greensboro.Street and the Town Hall for one terminal and the required linkage <br /> between Town Hall and the Central Processing unit facilities located in Hills- <br /> borough for all equipment. <br /> 9.. The County shall provide all installation and have all equipment and <br /> software programs operational with operator training complete by July 1, 1983, <br /> unless the Town of Carrboro specifically waves some portion of this requirement. <br /> In the event the system is not functional July 1, 1983, the County shall refund <br /> a prorata share of the monthly cost based upon the number of working days in <br /> the month the system was not functional. <br /> 10. Subsequent to initial.installation, -the County shall provide the Town <br /> with -the same level of service, including user priorities as other users of the <br /> Orange County Data Processing System. <br /> 11. The County shall provide a security system as a part of the software <br /> programming that will permit the Town to assign user accessibility. <br /> 12. The County shall provide the same data security and retention of data <br /> for the Town as provided for other users of the system, including daily "back-up" <br /> and other routine security storage. <br /> 13. Subject to paragraph two, the Town shall make an initial payment to <br /> Orange County of $8,500. This .payment'shall be made not later than July 1, 1983. <br /> 14. The Town shall make an annual payment to the County in the amount of <br /> twelve thousand dollars. Such payment shall be made on July 1 , 1983 and on July <br /> 1 of 1984, 1985, and 1986. <br /> 15. This agreement shall begin July 1, 1983 and end June 30, 1987. <br /> i <br />
