When access to a minor subdivision is proposed <br /> via a pre-existing, platted, private road, and <br /> where the private road provides access' to lots <br /> in addition to the lot(s) created by the proposed <br /> minor subdivision, the planning Board may recom- <br /> mend a variance, pursuant to subsections VII-A <br /> to -D of this ordinance, from the right-of-way j <br /> and maintenance requirements of subsection IV <br /> B-3-e of this ordinance. All variances shall I <br /> be granted in accordance with Section VII Of <br /> this ordinance. <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - S. 'Offsets - Unless ecxeption is granted as pro- <br /> vided in Section VII herein, an offset in <br /> the alignment of a streat across an intersec- <br /> tion shall not be pezmitted.•, <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - 10. Reserve Stri s -.Unless exception is granted <br /> as provided in Section VII herein, reserve <br /> strips controlling access to streets shall <br /> not be approved. <br /> IMPACT: On October 4, 1982 the Variance Section was- deleted from the Subdivision <br /> Regulations. The deletion of the above sections which refer to the Variance <br /> Section will clarify the Ordinance. <br />
