Orange County is indebted to members of the Orange County Extension' <br /> Homemakers Council, whose outstanding contributions to the develop- <br /> ment of homes and vitality and whose skills and leadership continue <br /> to expand its greatness; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Extension homemakers continue their active involvement in communities <br /> throughout our County by seeking to identify the needs-of families <br /> to marshal the available resources, and encourage family and com- <br /> munity participation to achieve a richer quality of living; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Observance of National Extension Homemakers Week is a nationwide <br /> tribute to homemakers and the support they offer to individuals <br /> and families, and it is fitting that Orange County recognize <br /> these women for their contributions to the well-being and progress <br /> of our County and State and citizens; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Orange County Board of Commissioners, acting on behalf <br /> of the citizens of Orange County, do HERESY PROCLAIM.the week of <br /> May 1-7, 1983,. <br /> EXTENSION;HOMEMAKERS.WEEK <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> AND, FURTHER COMMEND this observance to all our citizens. <br /> Richard E.
