Commissioner Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, <br /> 7. to approve the Wild Animals Ordtnance on its second reading as <br /> a. amended this morning (this includes the fee schedule on its first <br /> 9,, reading as amended this morning) . Vote: Ayes, 3 (Commissioners <br /> 10. Marshall , Whitted and Willhoit) ; noes , 1 (Commissioner Lloyd) . <br /> 11. This ordinance ?s effective as of this date; the fee schedule <br /> 12. will be returned for its second .reading and will be effective on that <br /> 13. date if adopted. . <br /> 14. Following a short break the Board resumed deliberations with <br /> 15. all members present as indicated at the beginning of these minutes. <br /> 16. Commissioner Whitted announced that the executive session <br /> 17. scheduled for 1:30 P.M. had been cancelled and was rescheduled for <br /> 1$, 12:00 noon on Friday, April 8, 1983. <br /> 19. 10. BUDGET AMENDMENTS <br /> 200 Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall , <br /> 21. to approve the budget amendments as recommended by the Manager (see <br /> 22. pages of this book) . Vote: Ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br /> 23. 11. HOUSING REHAB CONTRACTS <br /> 24. Commissioner Whitted moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, <br /> 25,to approve the awarding of Housdig . rehab contracts to: <br /> 26. Taylor Home Improvement for Units # 49 . ($5,625) , 76 ($12,994) <br /> 27.and 82 ($7,299); <br /> 28. Eugene H. Morrow for Units # 85 ($6,900) and 97 ($18,000) ; <br /> 29. Gates Construction for Unit # 56 ($5,000) . . <br /> 30. Vote: Ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br /> 31. 12. HB 426 <br /> 32. Commissioner Whitted noted that the Board had already voted to <br /> 33, support SB 51, which removes the tax on food. Commissioner Marshall moved , <br /> 3L„tseconded by Commissioner Willhoit,that this Board will support HB 426 <br /> 31 if it is amended to remove the food tax too. Vote: Ayes , 3 (Commis- <br /> 36 stoners Marshall , Whitted and Willhoit) ; noes, 1 (Commissioner Lloyd) . <br /> 37. APRIL MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> 38e Commissioner Marshall said that Planned Parenthood had scheduled <br /> 39 a meeting for that same evening which she wished to attend. <br /> 40• <br />
