County Manaqer Public Hearing: _y_es no <br /> Attachment(s) ormation Contact: <br /> County Manager's Office <br /> phone : 732-8181 ext. 501 <br /> PURPOSE: For the Board to authorize the County Manager as official sinnatory on <br /> HUD Form 62663, "Regulation for Partial Payment of Annual Contributions". <br /> NEED: One of the elements of the recently sinned contract between Orange County <br /> and the Chapel Hill Housing Authority assigns to Oranne County the responsi- <br /> bility, formerly undertaken by the Housing Authority, to make requests for <br /> partial payments of annual contributions. In order for the county to <br /> exercise this responsibility, the Board needs to comply with HUD's regulation <br /> that the noverninn board of the requesting body authorize an individual as <br /> official signatory. <br /> INPACT: Strengthens internal control over nast requisition procedures and allows <br /> the County additional monitoring capabilities. <br /> it <br /> RE COMMENDATION(S): <br /> Approval. <br />
