' y <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PRELIMINARY <br /> ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED WITH THE CLERK <br /> TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> OF ORANGE COUNTY PURSUANT TO THE DIRECTION <br /> OF THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AND PURSUANT TO THE BOARD'S DECISION <br /> TO FINANCE THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COST OF PAVING <br /> MACE ROAD (S.R. 1384), <br /> IN CHEEKS TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Article 9 of Chapter WA of <br /> the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Board of Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has completed and filed a Preliminary Assessment Roll. Pursuant thereto: <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake the financing of the local share of <br /> paving Mace Road (S.R. 1384), in Cheeks Township, Orange County, North <br /> Carolina. The amount to be financed by Orange County is estimated to be <br /> Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Nine and 02/100 Dollars ($18,839.02), <br /> including costs and attorneys fees. That portion of the costs of paving the above <br /> roads not financed by Orange County will be borne by the Department of <br /> Transportation or the State of North Carolina. <br /> 2. The assessment roll completed is on file with the Clerk to the <br /> Board of Commissioners of Orange County, and available to the public for. <br /> inspection. <br /> 3. The Public Hearing will be held at 7:30 o'clock p.m. on January 18, <br /> 1983, at the Orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular <br /> place of meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, in order to discuss all matters pertaining to the Preliminary Assessment <br /> Roll. <br /> At the time and place above stated, any resident of Orange County or <br /> any other interested person may appear and be heard. <br />
