The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session in the Courtroom in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, <br /> the regular place of meeting, at 7:30 p.m. on January 18, 1983. <br /> Present: Comissioners Lloyd, Marshall, Walker, Whitted and Willhoit <br /> Absent: None <br /> The Chair announced that this was the hour and day fixed by the <br /> Board of Commissioners for the Public Hearing on the Preliminary Assessment <br /> Roll filed with the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners of Orange County <br /> pursuant to the direction of the Orange County Board of Commissioners and <br /> pursuant to the Board's decision to finance the local share of the cost of paving <br /> Dumont Drive (S.R. 1595), in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina. The <br /> Chair also announced that the Board of Commissioners would immediately hear <br /> anyone who might wish to be heard on the Preliminary Assessment Roll. No one <br /> appeared on the said Preliminary Assessment Roll. <br /> Thereupon, upon Motion of Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Marshall and carried, the Preliminary Assessment Roll for the <br /> financing by Orange County of the local share of the cost of paving Dumont <br /> Drive (S.R. 1595), in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina, was <br /> confirmed save and except: 1) Orange County Tax Map and Parcel #14-32, owned <br /> by John H. McInnis and Lillie McInnis was corrected from assessment of $1,522.49 <br /> to $1,315.00 and 2) Orange County Tax Map and Parcel #14-9, corrected from <br /> showing Jake Patterson Loy and Gladys Patterson, Route 1, Box 183-D, <br /> Hillsborough, N.C. 27278 to read Jack P. Loy and Gladys C. Loy, Box 184-G, <br /> Hillsborough, N.C. 27278. <br /> The vote upon confirmation of the assessment made against each <br /> property owner was: <br />
