ORDINANCE <br /> The Wilson County Board of Commissioners does hereby ordain <br /> and enact as follows: <br /> POSSESSION Or NON-DOMESTIC ;INimXLS paoHIBITED <br /> 1. Except as herein Provided, it shall be unlawful for any <br /> person, firm or corporation to possess or harbor any non- <br /> domestic animal or ani.nals in Wilson_ county which are <br /> dangerous to persons or property or which have the potential <br /> Of being- dangerous to persons or property. This ordinance <br /> shall not apply to bona fide circuses,. petting zoos and <br /> other traveling cor„rercial animal exhibitions of limited <br /> duration- <br /> 2. The violation of this ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and <br /> any person. convicted Of such violation shall be punishable <br /> as provided in G.S. 14-4. Each dav,s" violation of this <br /> ordinance is a separate offense. In addition r <br /> ens orcemert <br /> of this ordinance may be by appropriate equitable remedy, <br /> injunction, or order of abatement issuing from a court of <br /> competent jurisdiction pursuant to G.S 153A-123(d) and (e) _ <br /> Adopted, this 6th day of December, 1982. <br />
