45
*?e
General Engineering and Environmental Management Services
HDR has also been selected by Sarasota County to provide
landfill gas to energy (LFGTE) services at the CCSWDC.
HDR has been supporting conceptual development of a
landfill gas -to- energy facility, which included a study that
clearly showed that the County's revenue potential would be
maximized through County development as opposed to a
developer -owned structure. HDR will assist the County with
project development and permitting, assist with the
procurement of major equipment, prepare construction
packages for phased execution of the LFGTE facility,
provide LFGTE construction bidding services, provide
system start -up services including training and testing, and
provide construction administration services.
Other assistance provided by HDR for the Sarasota County solid waste program include estimating the useable
remaining volume within Phase I, preparing financial assurance cost estimates, preparing operational fill plans for Phase
I, land use planning for the CCSWDC, and providing borrow soil requirement estimates for all phases of landfill
development.
Page 30 R
