The project complexity and management requirements have <br />been addressed through development and implementation of a comprehensive and detailed <br />project management plan which includes staff assignments, work scopes, methodologies, <br />budgets, schedules, and QA/AC requirements for each task. <br />King County, WA, Cedar Hills Regional Landfill Refuse Area 7 Development, Maple <br />Valley, WA. Project Engineer. Cedar Hills Landfill Area 7 planning and design. This <br />project was initiated recently and is expected to be similar to the Area 6 project. <br />Carteret County, North Carolina, Landfill Closure. Designed closure plan for 26 -acre <br />MSW unit, oversight of construction, and certified closure. <br />Hanes Mill Road Landfill, Winston - Salem, North Carolina. Assisted with design and <br />Permitting of the 37 -acre lined landfill. The facility is the first overliner "piggy back" <br />project permitted in North Carolina. The 37 -acre unit is full and preparing for closure. <br />Permitting of a 100 -acre lined MSW expansion unit. Analyzed leachate production data to <br />refine design of leachate system for the expansion unit. Plan preparation and oversight of <br />unlined landfill closure. <br />White Street Landfill, Greensboro, North Carolina. Project Engineer. Prepared permit <br />application for 52 -acre Subtitle "D" landfill unit at the 700 + -acre facility. Prepared <br />construction plans and specifications for all three cells. Provided assistance with bids and <br />recormnendations. Analyzed leachate production data to refine design for subsequent <br />cells and recirculation system. Coordinated gas extraction well locations for existing 120 - <br />acre landfill unit. Prepared permit applications for alternative liner system and leachate <br />recirculation system. <br />Old Salisbury Road Landfill, Forsyth County, North Carolina. Project Engineer for <br />the design and permitting of a 108 acre construction and demolition landfill. <br />Hardin Landfill, Gaston County, North Carolina. Project Engineer responsible for <br />producing permit applications, obtaining permits, and designing approximately 30 -acre <br />landfill unit. Prepared bid documents and construction plans and specifications. <br />CRSWMA Landfill, Tuscarora, North Carolina. Project Manager and Engineer <br />responsible for producing permit applications, obtaining permits, and designing <br />approximately 20 -acre unit. Prepared bid documents, construction plans, and <br />specifications for the 20 -acre unit. <br />Enoree Landfill, Greenville County, South Carolina. Project Manager and Engineer <br />responsible for four sets of construction plans and specifications to build a total of five <br />cells with more than 50 acres of capacity. HDR successfully modified the permit to lower <br />base grades and permit time use of an alternate liner system. <br />Bees Ferry Landfill - Permitting /Design and Construction, Charleston County, SC. <br />Project Engineer. The site is comprised of over 300 acres, and the work consists of <br />preliminary design and planning, all permitting, development of construction plans for the <br />lined expansion, as well as piggybacking over old waste. He prepared the permit <br />modfrcation to reduce the footprint of the unlined MSW unit in prepartion for the permit to <br />construct a lined MSW unit adjacent and on top of the unlined unit. Prepared the permit <br />application for an 80 acre lined MSW unit. He impressed DHEC personnel with a <br />statistical determination of the seasonal high groundwater datum for the site. He prepared <br />construction plans and specifications for the first piggyback cell.
