Department staff assist nutrition <br />participants on a variety of needs including in home <br />care, retirement benefits, health and nutrition ,legal <br />and financial assistance, older worker employment <br />and opportunities for recreation /leisure <br />DSS <br />In -Home Aid Services <br />$54,886 <br />$54,886 <br />Adult Services staff allot funds to ensure needy <br />clients receive services and support in place for <br />essential home management and personal care <br />tasks <br />Aging <br />Senior Center Operations <br />$ 76,494 <br />$76,494 <br />Grant funds offset a portion of the salaries of the <br />Facility Managers at the two multi - purpose Senior <br />Centers operated by the Department on Aging <br />Aging <br />In -Home Services <br />$82,860 <br />0 <br />Elder Transitions staff allot funds to ensure needy <br />clients receive services and support in place for <br />essential home management and personal care <br />tasks <br />(Note: "In -Home Services" administered by Aging <br />is deleted as a category in FY10 -11 and HCCBG <br />funds are programmed into Information, Outreach <br />and Case Assistance to allow increased flexibility <br />and broader leverage for eligible individuals <br />requiring community support to remain in home. <br />Aging <br />Transportation (OPT) <br />$ 73,394 <br />$73,394 <br />Daily fixed transportation routes are provided for <br />seniors to attend activities and services at the two <br />multipurpose Senior Centers, Chapel Hill and the <br />Hillsborough that include the daily nutrition program <br />
