Criminal Justice <br /> Partnership Program Grant <br /> Project Ordinance <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget ordinance amendments and grant project ordinances for fiscal <br /> year 2006-07. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Department on Aging <br /> 1. The Department on Aging has received additional revenue for the following programs: <br /> a. Frail Elderly — receipt of donated funds totaling $1,800 this fiscal year for the <br /> Eldercare division's Frail Elderly Program. The department.plans to use these funds <br /> to assist at-risk older adults in maintaining their independent living. This budget <br /> amendment provides for the receipt of these donated funds. (See Attachment 1, <br /> column #1) <br /> b. Community Based Services — receipt of additional class and rental fees at the senior <br /> centers totaling $6,000. The department plans to use these funds to pay instructors <br /> and other class expenses at the three senior centers. This budget amendment <br /> provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, column #1) <br />
