~~~ MINUTES JUNE 7, 1982 The Orange County Board of CortAUissioners met in regular session on Monday, June 7, 1982, at 10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners' Room, Orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina. Commissioners present: Chairman Richard E. Whitted, and Commissioners Norman Gustaveson, Shirley E. Marshall, Norman Walker and Don Willhoit. A. BOARD COMMENTS Commissioner Whitted added an announcement to the agenda and litigation to the executive session. Commissioner Marshall asked that when Proclamations are written that the audience composition be considered for better comptirension. ~ B, AUDTENCE COMMENTS There were no persons in the audience who wished to comment about items on the agenda ar not on the agenda. C. MINUTES Commissioner Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, to approve the minutes of March 22, 1982,as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. Commissioner Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, to approve the minutes of April 5, 1982, as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall, to approve the minutes of May 25, 1982, as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes. 0. Conenissianer Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, to approve the minutes of May 27, 1982, as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. The Minutes of April 20, 1982, were approved after lunch but are included here for conciseness. Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded 6y Commissioner Marshall, to approve the minutes of April 20, 1982, as corrected. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. D. DECISIONS BY BOARD 1. Conference for Children and Youth: Ms. Nancy Park asked that the is Board carry over into Fiscal '82-'83 the $lOD stipend the County had received to hold a follow-up conference on children and youth. She outlined same rough plans for two County conferences for the fa11 and next spring. The Board indicated there was no problem with carrying over the funds into FY '82-'83.
