Attachment 5 includes: 1) the list of property owners <br />notified by letter, 2) the Notice of Pending Rezoning Action that was mailed to the petitioned - <br />tracts property owners and to the 500 -foot adjoining property owners, 3) a copy of the <br />Certification of Mailing. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no public fiscal impact regarding this petition. <br />The Zoning Officer recommends APPROVAL of the zoning atlas amendment for both Tract 1 <br />and Tract 2. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Zoning Officer recommends that the Board: <br />1. Receive the rezoning petition, <br />2. Conduct the public hearing to hear and consider public comment, <br />3. Refer the matter to the Planning Board for a recommendation to be returned to the <br />County Board of Commissioners no later than January 8, 2009. <br />4. Adjourn the public hearing until January 22, 2009 in order to receive and accept the <br />Planning Board's recommendation. <br />
