That <br /> chlorinization was planned from the lagoon to the field for spraying. Mr. <br /> Kizer then asked if the lagoon was raw sewage and if so, how were solids <br /> removed. Mr. Zucchino said the lagoon was raw sewage and there was a solid . <br /> removal screen but he didn't know how it worked. Mr. Kizer then asked about - <br /> the elevation of the wells planned for the site and their relation to the <br /> lagoon drainage site. Mr. Zucchino responded he thought elevation of the wells <br /> was about 35'-40' above the lagoon. The lagoon is the lowest point of the:;site.. <br /> Planning Board member Shanklin asked about the water quality. Mr. <br /> Zucchino said this system was designed to meet the State standards. <br /> Responding to an inquiry about roads fXM Eommissioner Millhoit, Mr. <br /> Zucchino said that the developer had planned 4" crush and rua with a chemical <br /> binder but that the Planning Staff had moved the original entrance to the <br /> site and then said the longer entrance should be paved. He said the cost of <br /> the paving is twice as expensive as the treatment the developer had planned_ <br /> Planning Board member Irvin had same concern about carving sites out of <br /> the woodland. Mr. Cannity said the landscaping would be kept to a minimum; <br /> that some of the trees were twenty-five years old and the developer planned <br /> to retain all natural landscaping possible. <br /> Mr. Cannity said that an active agricultural operations was across the . <br /> street from the development and the Planning Staff felt that moving a portion <br /> of the units would stop some of the dust; and that with the thirty-five units <br /> down the street (the pre-existing mobile home park) there existed a potential <br /> for a traffic problem if the original entrance was maintained. <br /> CommLiissioner Willhoit encouraged the Planning Board to consider a trade <br /> off between the road requirements and the density of development planned. <br /> Chairman Whitted asked if any member of the audience wished to give <br /> ievidence. <br /> Mr. James Pritchard—said he was a neighbor of Mr. Ford's '( the develop- <br /> er) and Mr. Ford did soma work for him cn his (Mr. Pritchard's)'mobile home <br /> park.
