When accessorv <br /> structures (sheds, detached �ges, etc.) are allowed to <br /> be placed within a S�ecial Flood Hazard Area pursuant <br /> to the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, the <br /> followin�criteria shall be met: <br /> (1) AccessorXstructures shall not be used for human <br /> habitation (including working, sleepin ,g 1�� <br /> cooking or restroom areas); <br /> (2) Accessory structures shall not be temperature- <br /> controlled; <br /> (3) Accessory structures shall be designed to have <br /> low flood damage notential; <br /> (4) Accessory structures shall be constructed and <br /> �laced on the buildin�site so as to offer the <br /> minimum resistance to the flow of floodwaters; <br /> (5) Accessory structures shall be firmly anchored in <br /> accordance with Section 15-251.8; <br /> (6) All service facilities such as electrical shall be <br /> installed in accordance with Section 15-251.8; <br /> and <br /> (7) Flood openin�s to facilitate automatic <br /> e,�ualization of hydrostatic flood forces shall be <br /> provided below re u�ry flood protection <br /> elevation in conformance with Subsection (e) of <br /> this section. <br /> (8) An accessorv structure with a footprint less than <br /> 150 square feet that satisfies the criteria outlined <br /> above does not require an elevation or <br /> floodproofing certificate.
