In addition, the update will likely <br /> recommend policies that lower density in rural areas. <br /> If policies such as these are adopted and implemented, vulnerability to hazards such <br /> as flooding, landslides, and wildfires should be further reduced. Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) <br /> The County's land use ordinances (Zoning, Economic Development District Design <br /> Manual, Hillsborough Economic Development District Design Manual, Subdivision, <br /> Flood Damage Prevention, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Strom Water <br /> Management, and Environmental Impact) are to be combined into one UDO.
