CBA Expansion funds, item H-1. <br /> 8. F Public Hearing Falls of New Hope Participatory Paving <br /> 9. Final Assessment Resolution <br /> 10. Mr. Ken Rohrbench said he spoke for a contingent of homeowners <br /> 11. who were present and all were in favor of the project. <br /> 12. Mr. John Silva--a new resident of the subdivision asked sev <br /> 13. eral questions regarding how the assessment was calculated, when the <br /> 14- petition was circulated and the percentage of homeowners who signed <br /> 15. the petition. <br /> 16. Ms. Susan Smith, Planning Department, answered Mr. Silva's <br /> 17. inqueries. <br /> 18. With no one remaining who wished to speak, Chairman Whitted <br /> 19• declared this public hearing closed. <br /> 20• <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved the adoption of the Final Assess- <br /> 21. ment`Resolution for the Falls of New Hope Participatory Paving P--^- <br /> 22. ject; Commissioner Walker seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes, 4; r:_: <br /> 23• 0. <br /> 24- H. Board Decisions <br /> 25• 1. CBA Expansion Funds, 1981-82-- Orange County received <br /> 26. $5,782 additional funds from the General Assembly for this program- <br /> 27e The Youth Services Task Force is recommending the Board allocate <br /> 28. $3,000 to Shaffer House and $1,391 each to Janus and Tree House. <br /> 29. Commissioner Willhoit moved to approve, seconded by Commis- <br /> 30• sioner Gustaveson, the recommendation of the Youth Services Task <br /> 31• Force to allocate $3,000 to Shaffer House and $1,391 each to Janus <br /> -32. and Tree House and to authorize the submission of a revised budget <br /> 33. to the State to reflect this unanticipated revenue. Vote: Ayes, <br /> 34• 4; noes, 0. <br /> 35• 2. Tax Appeals-- <br /> 36. Mr. Edwin Tenney--Mr. Tenney's appeal was first heard on Oct- <br /> 37. ober 29, 1981, (refer to the minutes of that meeting for detail) . <br /> 38e The properties appealed are: Tax Map 34A, Block A, Lot I and Block <br /> 39.
