41 <br />Diseunion: There was a discussion of possibly observing a residence(s) that have a <br />tethered dog(s) and are propoceats of tetbmmg. It was agreed to have another <br />informational meeting, aslang people from other counties or Jurisdictions that have a <br />tethering ordinance or a limited tethering ordinance to come and speak before having a <br />public input meeting on Monday Apn123rt 2007. There was agreement that this would <br />be the neat step in the Committee's information process and that others could be invited <br />to address the Committee after that meeting with other animal controUservice personnel. <br />More specifically, for the next meeting staff commuted to contBCft their counterparts in <br />jurisdictions with more restrictive regulations in North Carolina to discuss the <br />implementation and enkreement of their ordinances. Commiktee members requested that <br />staff arrange for a representative from a jurisdiction with aaoutrigbt ban as well as one <br />with a set of restrictions (or conditions) that were subject to enforcement. Staff indicated <br />that they would do their best to arrange for such des. <br />Next Meeting Dste: It was agreed the committee would meet Tuesday M :arch 27s', 2007 <br />for an information meeting. <br />160 <br />
