Unanimous. <br />Motion was made by Daniel Tenorm and sewnded by Bonnie Norwood to approve the minutes dated <br />Jan wy]6, 200& VOTE: Unanimous <br />Gmvaal Public Commad None <br />Annoancrnu►ds- . <br />Spay Day R=vhn on- --Ross Oglesbee announced that the Board of County Commwiarers adopted the <br />Spay Day Resolution at On* January 15, 2008 meeting The rssohntion was received with very positive <br />feedback and a framed copy of the resolution will be dispkDW at the Animal Services oftae on Fn=Uin <br />Street <br />Ms OgImbee also announced dw she attended the rer eption for Committee Chairs on Advisory Boards. <br />There was a discussion of Commissioners involvement in various advisory boards There was also a <br />discussion about the FY08109 budget and what kinds of requests are being made to staff pwgrama and to <br />have resources available for them. Ms Oglesbee would IiJEe to be vfonned as a board what lands of <br />request are being made for stafirin this year's budget in order to meet the objectives and various <br />programs that the board has set. <br />It was mentioned that after this year Commissioner Maces Carey will no longer be the ASAB kaison due <br />to his retirementfrom the BOCr— There war discussion from the board members about the process for his <br />replacement and whether or not recamma dations by theASAB can be made M. Marotta will look in to <br />how,theprocessfor new BOCC appointments are handed and report back to the ASAB in March. <br />Ms Oglesbee suggested that the board think about having an amoral Animal Semaces Day to focus on due <br />programs and invite the BOCC and public to attend This would be a great way to promote the <br />spayhmuter programs and to conduct educational outreadn to the community. <br />Approved ASAB Minutes <br />February 20, 2WS <br />
