ATTACHMENT 3 ~ <br />~ -~ <br />Senior Citizen Health Promotion Program <br />Grant Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following grant project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. This project authorized is the Senior Citizen Health Promotion Program to develop <br />a comprehensive and coordinated County health promotion and disease prevention <br />program for citizens involving a partnership of public agencies, University Health <br />Affairs and private groups. <br />Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the grant project in <br />accordance with the mutual .cooperation agreement between the County and the <br />University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on June 30, 1997. <br />Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to be available to complete this project: <br />Fees for Service (2007-08) <br />Transfer from General Fund (2007-08) <br />Grant Funds (2008-09) <br />Fees for Service (2008-09) <br />Transfer from General Fund (2008-09) <br />Total Revenue <br />Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br />Human Services -Senior Citizen Health Promotion <br />$95,500 <br />$32,142 <br />$33.,000 <br />$24,000 <br />$36,443 <br />$262,SSS <br />$262, SSS <br />Section S.The finance officer is hereby directed to maintain within the Grant Project sufficient <br />specific detailed accounting records to provide the accounting to the grantor <br />agency. <br />Section 6. Funds ~ may be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose of making <br />payments due. Reimbursement requests should be made to the grantor agency in <br />an orderly- and timely manner. <br />Section 7.Copies of this grant project ordinance shall be made available to the finance officer <br />for direction in carrying out this project. <br />Section 8.Positions authorized through this grant project ordinance include: <br />
