Commissioner Barnes- moved the swearing in-ceremony- of the <br /> 15. netii.County Manager to 'follow this agenda item;-,and corrected <br /> 16. agenda item number 6 to include public non-state maintained <br /> i79 roads. <br /> 18. Agenda Item 12: Oath for County Mana5jer <br /> 19. The Clerk of Court, Mr. Frank Frederick, administered the <br /> 20. oath of office .to Kenneth R. Thompson, Orange County Manager. <br /> 21. Not on the Agenda: There were no comments. <br /> 30. Agenda Item 3: Public Hearing--DOT's Proposed <br /> Secondary Road Program for 81-82 <br /> 31• in Orange County <br /> 32. Mr- Watkins, Mr. Jones and Mr. Sanders Dallas represented the <br /> 33- North Carolina Department of Transportation and presented the <br /> 34- proposed, Secondary Road Program for Orange County for 1981--82. - <br /> 35. Mr. Watkins said the DOT had $963,000 to spend in Orange <br /> 36. County over.the next two years with $361,249 allocated for this <br /> 37. year, due to the $.03 tax on gasoline passed by the Legislature <br /> 38, this year. <br /> 39. <br /> 40• <br />
