2 i rC <br /> OCTOBER 13, 1981' <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special session on <br /> Tuesday, October 13, 1981, at 6.30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Room, <br /> orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br /> Ccumissioners present: Commissioner Richard'M tted, Vice-Chair, and <br /> Caamissioners Norman Gustaveson and Nomon. Walker. <br /> Ccmni-ssioners absents Comm;ssi.oner.Anne Barnes, Chair,and Commis-' <br /> sioner Don Willhoit. <br /> Commissioner Nutted chaired the meeting in the absence of Cam-nis <br /> sinner Barnes: he stated the.purpose of the meeting, i.e., to hear pro- <br /> perty valuation appeals. <br /> 1%. <br /> The Tax Supervisor, Bill Laws, and Kermit Lloyd from the Tax Office <br /> were present. <br /> lL. <br /> n 4M� Craig and Christie Price, Tax Map 43, Block D, Parcel 9: <br /> Mx. Lloyd said he had revisited the property and had no recommendation <br /> for a change in the original appraisal.. Mr. Price said he was next door <br /> I to a triplex apartment and there was a sewage easement down the middle <br /> of his lot as well as the house being very small. The Board thanked <br /> the Prices. <br /> ' <br /> (Mile the Board did not discuss the individual appeals directly <br /> 25. <br /> following the presentation of those appeals, the Board did discuss the <br /> 2(. <br /> appeals during the meeting; therefore, for the sake of simplicity and clarity, <br /> 27, <br /> L am including all discussion for each appeal within the presentation; a copy of <br /> 28. <br /> the reccmTendations follow on pages of this book. The Clerk.) <br /> 29. <br /> Mr. Lloyd said the sewer easement ran down the outer edge of the drive- <br /> 30 <br /> way on the property and he wasn't sure it.was an the property. He said <br /> 31. <br /> the Places had as much privacy in as anyone else in Lake Forest. He rec- <br /> cnmiended no change. .Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Cm issioner <br /> Gustaveson, no change in the valuation, as amended by the Tax office. <br /> Vote: Ayes, 3; noes, 0. <br /> 35. <br /> Kate Lucy Lee , Tax Map 43, Block F, T-ot 4 <br /> Mr. Lloyd said he had visited the property on October 7 and he felt <br /> 3'7. <br /> 36- m the property had been overgraded.
