The Orange County Cooperative Extension and Economic Development Departments <br />have received the following two (2) grant awards: <br />• Specialty Crops Grant — At its January 21, 2010 meeting, the Board of County <br />Commissioners approved the receipt of a $20,000 award from the North Carolina <br />Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This grant will help support the <br />emerging needs at the PLANT @ Breeze Farm Enterprise Incubator Program. <br />Specifically, the funds will be used to support training and field activities, including <br />sustainable soil and water management, insect, disease, and weed management, <br />
