Attachment 3 <br />' Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 2000-01 <br />Orange County Budget ®RAFT <br />June 15, 2000 <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has considered the Orange County 2000-01 <br />Manager's Recommended Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners have agreed on certain modifications to the Manager's Recommended <br />Budget; <br />;~ <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orange County Board of Commissioners expresses its intent <br />to adopt the 2000-01 Orange County Budget Ordinance on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, based on the following <br />stipulations: <br />1) <br />The following new positions are approved: <br />• Social Worker (Agin <br />• Child Support Enforcement Officer (Child Support Enforcement) <br />• Inspections/Planning Clerk (Planning Department) <br />• Code Enforcement Officer III-Building Inspector <br />(Planning Department) <br />• Community Social Services Assistant (DSS) <br />2) <br />1.00 FTE <br />1.00 FTE <br />1.00 FTE <br />1.00 FTE <br />1.00 FTE <br />The following partially grant funded positions are approved to be funded 100% from the General <br />Fund: <br />• Deputy Sheriff I (Sheriff's Department) formerly funded in the <br />COPSFAST Grant Project 12.00 FTE <br />3) <br />The following .5 FTE time-limited position is approved as full-time permanent position: <br />• Planning/Water Resources Technician (ERCD) <br />4) <br />The following increases in hours are approved: <br />^ Office Assistant II Chapel Hill Senior Center (Aging 0.25 FTE <br />^ Office Assistant II Carrboro Senior Center (Aging 0.25 FTE <br />^ Adoption Social Worker III (DSS) 0.20 FTE <br />
