proposed changes to the impact fee structure that might result from the conclusions of that <br />study would likely be scheduled for the quarterly public hearing on August 28, 2000. <br />Attachment 4a -Chart: "Proposal for Student generation rate and Public School Impact <br />Fee Studies" <br />2 <br />b) Trends in Student Population <br />Commissioners have expressed an interest in receiving an update on trends in the growth in <br />student population. The tables at Attachment 4b-1 reflect the most recent 10 year student <br />projections we have available from the State Department of Public Instruction. Since these <br />figures are more than a year old, CHCCS has recently refined the figures and has prepared the <br />table and chart at Attachment 4b-2. <br />Attachment 4b - 1 - "Final ADM Projection" <br />Attachment 4b - 2 - "Projected Capacity and Enrollment -Ten Year Projections" <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact tied directly to the review/discussion at this <br />meeting of these reports. However, any discussion is likely to influence future school operating <br />and capital budgets. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the boards receive the reports for <br />information only. <br />
