2 <br />No Attachments <br />c. Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br />The Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance is in the process of being discussed among the <br />various jurisdictions. Water and Sewer Boundary Agreement Issues <br />The BOCC recently discussed the desirability of reaching closure on the work carried out during <br />the past few years by the Water /Sewer Boundary Task Force. Joint Recreation Possibilities <br />In November 1999, the County Commissioners approved the creation of a task force charged <br />with organizing and focusing community interest in promoting soccer and soccer facilities. <br />Activities include holding a symposium at which all interested parties could express their needs <br />and concerns. Some appointments to this task force have been made, with the rest scheduled <br />for the BOCC's February 1 meeting. The task force could begin work in February. <br />The BOCC recently approved a contract with Trigon Engineering to undertake geotechnical and <br />preliminary environmental investigation of the Fairview Park landfill and adjacent Town property. <br />Weather permitting, results from the investigation are expected by the end of April 2000. This <br />will allow for further planning as to what, if any, recreational facilities and activities may be <br />feasible and prudent for development on these properties. <br />No attachments <br />f. County Human Services in New Building in the Fairview Community <br />The BOCC approved funding in the FY99 -00 budget as the first in a series of annual <br />contributions towards the cost of construction of the Town's new building in the Fairview <br />Community. The Town and County Managers and their staffs are working together to examine <br />what are possible appropriate uses by County human service agencies of multi- purpose space <br />that has been incorporated in the design for the new building. <br />
