- F <br /> Article II, Sec. 9 of the Orange County Personnel Policy is amended to read as <br /> ' <br /> A. f ollows: <br /> Sec. 9. Travel - Room and Board and Special Expenses. <br /> '• (a) Living expenses other than meals will be authorized only for <br /> '• trips lasting overnight or longer. <br /> (b) Employees and officials will be expected to commence the <br /> return to Orange County as soon as practical after the conclusion of <br /> their business. ---- <br /> (c) Room and board expenses incurred by personnel traveling away <br /> from Orange County on official business will be reimbursed, not to <br /> • <br /> • exceed $45.00 per day for lodging and $15.00 per day for meals and <br /> • gratuities. Provided, however, conference sponsored meals and <br /> • lodging expenses will be reimbursed in full. <br /> (d) .Employees and officials will be reimbursed for the actual cost <br /> • of special expenses paid by them. from their personal funds, such as.-.,. <br /> • registration fees and other related expenses. <br /> • (e) Carpooling and the use of County-owned vehicles is hereby . <br /> encouraged. <br /> (Amended August 18, 1981) <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, the foregoing Amendments to <br /> the Orange County Personnel Policy are adopted by the Orange County Board of <br /> it <br /> Commissioners; Article III, Secs. 7, 9 and 10 upon second reading; Article 11, <br /> Secs. 8 and 9 upon first reading, this 18th day of August, 1981. <br /> Voting Aye: Commissioners Barnes Gustaveson Walker Whitted and Willhoit. <br /> Voting Noe: None. <br />
