r :Erployees with more than thirty (30) days accumulated annual <br /> Y leave on September 3, 1981 shall be required to use that portion <br /> i• of annual leave accumulated in excess of thirty (30) days on or <br /> before Septiq 3, 1984. Any unused accumulated annual leave <br /> in excess of thirty (30) days on September 3, 1984 shall be <br /> ,• permanently lost for all purposes. <br /> (Amended August 3, 1981) <br /> • Article III, Sec. 9 of the Orange County Personnel Policy is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 9. Annual Vacation Leave - Terminal Pay and P.epayrment of <br /> Annual Leave. <br /> • Upon separation, an employee will be paid for annual vacation <br /> leave accumulated to the date of separation, not to exceed thirty <br /> (30) days. An employee that has used more annual leave than <br /> earned at the time of separation must pay the county for leave <br /> taken in excess of leave earned. <br /> (Amended August 3, 1981) <br /> Article 111, Sec.. 10 of the Orange County Personnel Policy is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> • Sec. 10. Annual Vacation Leave - Payment for accumulated Vacation <br /> • Leave upon Death. <br /> A county employee who dies while working for the county will be <br /> • entitled to payment for all accumulated annual leave, not to <br /> • exceed thirty (30) days. Such accumulated leave payment will be <br /> made to the estate of the deceased. <br /> (Amended August 3, 1981) <br /> Canni.ssioner Mitted moved, seconded by Cannissioner Barnes, that a - <br /> quarterly report be made to the Manager of those employees with more than <br /> thirty days of vacation leave be endorsed by this Board as an administrative <br /> policy. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />
