.J. <br />2 <br />1. Coordination and facilitation of the Criminal Justice Partnership Board and sub- <br />committees including membership development, agenda planning and preparation, <br />scheduling times /locations, mailings and minutes. <br />2. Facilitating periodic community needs assessments to identify the unmet needs in the <br />area of adult and juvenile criminal justice, including data collection, analysis and <br />reporting. Research and reporting on new initiatives in criminal justice to meet the <br />unmet needs. <br />3. Work in collaboration with the State Office of Juvenile Justice Regional Consultant, <br />Chief District Court Judge, Chief Court Counselor and others to assess and address <br />gaps in service. <br />4. Identification of grant funding opportunities and development/drafting of grant proposals <br />for criminal justice funds. <br />5. Seeking out proposals for criminal justice services and initiatives. Development of <br />performance agreements and contracts for criminal justice partnership funds. <br />Monitoring and evaluating the funding recipient's performance in terms of the <br />agreement. Assuring State required changes or new initiatives from the State are <br />incorporated in any agreements. <br />6. Development and implementation of communications programs to support the criminal <br />justice partnership initiatives, including development of a joint Orange and Chatham <br />County Criminal Justice Resource Guide, resource fairs, interagency meetings, and <br />forums on juvenile delinquency and crime. <br />Personnel has reviewed the proposed position's duties and recommends it be classified as <br />Criminal Justice Program Coordinator at Salary Grade 65 which has a hiring range of <br />$26,464 to $32,167. <br />Financial Impact: The estimated position costs are shown below.
