15 <br /> 1 1. Upon receiving a request, the Board shall publish notice describing the proposed <br /> 2 action in the appropriate newspapers of Orange County within five(5)business days <br /> 3 of tt�e request,and will in the same notice notify the public of a public hearing on the <br /> 4 proposed condemnation,to be held within ten(10)days of receipt of the request <br /> 5 <br /> 6 2. The Board shall meet to review: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 a. Whether the need for the project has been satisfactorily established by the <br /> 9 agency or unit of government involved, including a review of any fiscal <br /> lo impact analysis conducted by the agency involved;and <br /> 11 <br /> �2 b. Whether there are altematives to the proposed action that have less impact <br /> 13 ( and are less disruptive to the agricultural activities of the Agrieultural <br /> �4 District within which the proposed action is to take place. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 I 3. The Board shall consult with the Department of Environment,A�riculture,Parks <br /> 17 and Recreation County Agricultural_Extension_Agent, the Natural Resources_,_-�Deleted:Env;ronmenc and Resource <br /> 18 Conservation Service District Conservationist, and any other individuals, agencies, coa5��on n�P��c <br /> 19 or organizations deemed by the Board to be necessary for its review of the proposed <br /> 2o action. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 � 4. Within five (5) business days after the hearing, the Board shall make a report <br /> 23 containing its fmdings and recommendations regarding the proposed action. The <br /> 24 report shall be made available to the public prior to its being conveyed to the <br /> 25 decision-making body of the agency proposing the acquisition. <br /> 26 <br /> 2� 5. There will be a period of ten(10)days allowed for public comment on the report of <br /> 28 the Board. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 6. After the ten(10)day period for public comment has expired,the Board sha11 submit <br /> 31 a fmal report containing all of its fmdings and recommendations regarding the <br /> 32 proposed action to the decision making body of the agency proposing the <br /> 33 acquisition. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 7. The total time period,from the day that a request for a hearing has been received to <br /> 36 the day that a final report is issued to the decision making body of the agency <br /> 37 proposing the acquisition,shall not exceed thirty(30)days. If the agency agrees to <br /> 38 � an extension,the agency and th�Boazd_shall mutually agree u.pon a schedule to be_ - �eietea: , <br /> 39 set forth in writing and made available to the public. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 8.
