SUB-CONTRACTS BETWEEN THE ORANGE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND <br />PIEDMONT HEALTH SERVICES AND THE JOINT ORANGE CHATHAM <br />COD'IlrlUNITY ACTION AGENCY <br />The Board approved two contracts for PHS and JOCCA to provide <br />services specified in the contracts to improve the health of minority <br />populations in Orange County communities selected by the Orange County <br />Coalition. The cost of these subcontracts is covered fully by the W. <br />K. Kellogg funds. <br />F. CONTRACTS BETWEEN THE ORANGE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THE <br />UNC SCHOOL OF MEDICINE FOR ITS DEPARTMENTS OF FAMILY MEDICINE <br />AND COMMUNITY PEDIATRICS <br />The Board approved the renewal of Professional Service <br />Contracts between the OCHD and the UNC-CH School of Medicine for its <br />Departments of Family Medicine and Community Pediatrics. These <br />contracts provides faculty members who serve as part-time medical <br />director and clinicians. Funds for these contracts are provided in the <br />approved budget. <br />G. CHANGE IN Board of Count Commissioners REGULAR MEETING <br />SCHEDiTT.E <br />The Board approved setting a Special Meeting for October 11 <br />at 5:30 p.m. at the OWASA community meeting room in Carrboro for the <br />purpose of meeting with the governing boards from Chapel Hill and <br />Carrboro to discuss the "Green Tract".
