CRIMINAL JUSTICE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM SERVICE CONTRACT <br />10 The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a <br />11 contract with Orange-Person-Chatham Mental Health Center to provide a <br />12 comprehensive substance abuse program for persons sentenced to <br />13 intermediate sanctions. <br />14 <br />15 L. MARIN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY - RELOCATION OF GRAVES <br />16 This item was deleted from the Consent Agenda and placed <br />17 immediately following the Consent Agenda. <br />18 <br />19 M. BID AWARD - TEN (10) SEMI-AUTOMATIC DEFIBRILLATORS FOR ORANGE <br />20 COUNTY EMS <br />21 The Board awarded the bid to Physio-Control of Redmond, <br />22 Washington for a total cost of $44,870 for ten (10) First Medic 510 <br />23 Semi-Automatic Defibrillators. <br />24 <br />25 N. REGIONAL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE CONTRACT RENEWAL <br />26 This item was deleted from the Consent Agenda and placed <br />27 immediately following the Consent Agenda. <br />28 <br />29 ~ O. ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENT - Z-2-95 ROBERT D. MCBROOM <br />30 The Board approved a rezoning of 2.98 acres owned by Robert <br />31 D. McBroom from Agricultural-Residential to I-1 Light Industrial. The <br />32 property is approximately 1,600 feet north of the southern intersection <br />33 with Coleman Loop Road. <br />34 VOTE ON THE CONSENT AGENDA: UNANIMOUS <br />35 <br />36 ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />37 H. FOREST SERVICE CONTRACT <br />38 Commissioner Crowther informed the Board about the pine <br />39 beetle infestation. He suggested that the County help the Forest <br />40 Service by mapping out the infested areas using the GIS system. <br />41 L. RELOCATION OF GRAVES - LOT 9 OF THE RESERVE SUBD./PHASE II <br />42 In answer to questions from Commissioners Gordon and <br />43 Halkiotis, Mr. Ward Sutton who has been in this type of business for 18 <br />44 years said that there are probably 24 graves on this site which are <br />45 over 100 years old. He said that these graves will be moved to a <br />46 suitable cemetery. He explained the procedure they use in doing this <br />47 type of relocation. <br />48 N. REGIONAL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE AGREEMENT WITH TRIANGLE J <br />49 COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br />50 Commissioner Willhoit asked that this be approved contingent <br />51 on Triangle J drafting legislation to be introduced into the <br />52 legislature to authorize levying a predisposal fee on household <br />53 hazardous waste which can be used to finance this program. <br />54 A motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by <br />55 Commissioner Halkiotis to add to item N the notation as stated above. <br />
