<br />13 <br />Commissioner Gordon to receive this report and refer to the Planning Board the <br />development of the following: <br />a) a resolution for consideration by the County Commissioners <br />concerning adoption of the Regional Bicycle Plan as a planning <br />guideline for bicycle facilities in Orange County <br />b) a Bicycle Route Suitability Study, and <br />c) a curriculum of bicycle awareness programs (to be developed <br />jointly with the Board of Education). <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />XI. APPOINTMENTS <br />COMMIINITY ACTIVITY CENTER <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Insko, seconded by Commissioner <br />Willhoit to appoint Lynn Hecht, Ronald Hyatt and Susan Waldrop to the <br />Community Activity Center Board of Directors. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />$CONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Insko to appoint Edward Siebert to his second term ending June 30, 1997, Bob <br />Hall to a zero term ending June 30, 1996, Alex Zaffron to his first term <br />ending June 30, 1997 and Karen Raleigh to her first term ending June 30, 1997. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />~NTE(~RATED SOLID WASTE MANAC;EMENT STODY <br />Woodhall Stopford was nominated by Commissioner Willhoit and <br />received 4 votes. <br />Betty Maultsby was nominated by Commissioner Gordon and received <br />one vote. <br />Caleb Moore was nominated by Commissioner Willhoit and received two <br />votes. <br />Woodhall Stopford and Caleb Moore were appointed to this committee. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner Insko to <br />appoint Carl D. Belcher as an alternate member of this committee. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />XII. MINIITES - NONE <br />XIII. EBECIITIVE SESSION - NONE <br />XIV. ADJOIIRNMENT <br />With no further items for Board consideration, Chair Carey <br />adjourned the meeting to Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 pm to consider a change <br />in the title of the bond issue as indicated in item IX-B.
