BIIDGET ORDINANCE AMENDMENT #10 <br />The Board approved the following budget ordinance amendments: <br />GENERAL FIIND <br />Source - Intergovernmental $ 33 814 <br />Appropriation - Human Services 33,814 <br />(To receive additional State Day Care funds) <br />Source - Intergovernmental $ 4,601 <br />Appropriation - Human Services 4,601 <br />(To accept additional State Subsidy funds) <br />Source - Intergovernmental $ 14 900 <br />Appropriation - Contributions to <br />Outside Agencies $ 14,900 <br />(to accept additional State CBA funds) <br />Source - Miscellaneous (Expenditures) $ (600) <br />Appropriation - Contributions to <br />Outside Agencies 600 <br />(Appropriation from Contingency for Pine <br />Knolls After School Program) <br />Source - Miscellaneous (Expenditures) $ (2,200) <br />Appropriation - Contributions to Outside 2,200 <br />parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />below: <br />NOTE: <br />to send <br />B. 1994 LOCAL LEGISLATION <br />The Board considered three pieces of local legislation as stated <br />(1) A bill that would enable the County to acquire and make <br />available property for use. by a school district, and thus <br />acquire or construct school facilities through installment <br />purchase arrangements. <br />(2) Addition of Orange County to a list of jurisdictions authorized <br />by existing State legislation to sell products from the <br />County's computerized Geographic Information System (GIS) to <br />the public at reasonable--cost - with the stipulation that <br />- purchasers of such data may not resell the data or use it for <br />trade or commercial purposes. - - <br />(3) A bill that would make it unnecessary for the Board of <br />Commissioners to approve pyrotechnic displays sanctioned by the <br />University of North Carolina that are conducted on University <br />property. <br />Chair Carey arrived at this point in the agenda. <br />There were no citizen comments. It was the consensus of the Board <br />these three matters forward. <br />VIII. ITEMS FOR DECISION -.CONSENT AGENDA <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Insko, seconded by Commissioner <br />Halkiotis to approve those items on the Consent Agenda as stated below. Item <br />"G" was removed and considered immediately following the Consent Agenda. <br />
