COIINTY ATTORNEY <br />A motion was made <br />Commissioner Halkiotis to continue <br />Coleman, Gledhill and Hargrove for <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by <br />the County's association with the firm of <br />legal services. <br />4. $OCC PARTICIPATION ON BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />No changes were made to the Board appointments to the various <br />County Boards and Commissions except that former County Commissioner John <br />Hartwell will no longer serve as Chair or as a member of the TJCOG Water <br />Resources Committee. <br />I. ADDITIONS OR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA <br />Chair Carey added to the agenda as Resolution "B" A Public Proclamation <br />rescinding the mandatory Stage III water restrictions. <br />A new agenda abstract for item VIII-F was accepted. <br />Items VIII-D and E will be considered before the other items on the <br />Decision Agenda. <br />A special recognition for Kermit Lloyd was added to item V. <br />II. AODIENCE COMMENTS <br />A. MATTERS ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br />Chair Carey said that those citizens who wish to speak to an item <br />on the printed agenda will be recognized at the appropriate time. <br />The Board decided to let citizens make a brief statement on those <br />items on the Decision Agenda which have previously gone to public hearing. <br />H. MATTERS NOT ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br />Jim Gray cited a problem with a neighbor clearing trees and placing <br />a tool trailer within 10-15 feet of his property line. He said that this has <br />been identified as a violation and the Planning Department is working on this <br />case. He wants this to go to court just as soon as possible. This was <br />referred to the County Manager for followup. <br />Robert Seymour announced that $87,000 was recently awarded to the <br />Friends of the Chapel Hill Senior Center by the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable <br />Trust in Winston Salem. This grant will be used to staff and supply the <br />Wellness Program based at the Chapel Hill Senior Center. <br />PIIBLIC CHARGE <br />Chair Carey read the public charge. <br />III. ITEMS FOR DECISION - CONSENT AGENDA <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Insko, seconded by Commissioner <br />Halkiotis to approve those items as listed on the Consent Agenda except "A". <br />A. YOOTH SERDICEB NEEDS TASK FORCE - CHANGE IN CHARGE <br />-This item was removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the <br />end of this section. <br />
