Application for Title IIT-B Funding for Fiscal 1981-82. <br />Commissioner Whitted moved to approve an application for funding for the <br />Federal Fiscal year 1981-82 under Title III-B of the Dlder Americans Act <br />and to empower the Chair Sign this application; Commissioner Willhoit <br />seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />C. Sign at Northside Multipurpose Center. - <br />The Board reached a consensus that those offices occupying The <br />Northside Multipurpose Center should be contacted for suggestions for <br />the Sign wording. The board instructed the Clerk to contact those agencies <br />far their suggestions. <br />Agenda Item 21: Budget Amendments <br />Commissioner Whitted moved approval of the budget amendments for <br />Manning, Central Services and Contingency (See page~-~'~f this book far <br />those amounts); Corronissioner Barnes seconded the motion. Vote: ,dyes, 4; <br />noes, 0. <br />The Finance Director presented the budget amendments for the Health <br />Da par•tment for Board consideration. Corr~missioner Whitted moved, seconded <br />by Commissioner Barnes, approval of the amendments (see Wage a~~ of this <br />book). Vote: Ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 23: Governors. Volunteer Awards Nominees <br />The Board decided to circulate the nominees received among itself and <br />to bring this back to the agenda later in June. <br />Agenda Item 25: Discussion of 5B 583 <br />The County Attorney told the Board that this legislation arose as <br />the result 'of a situation in Onslow County; it is his opinion that the County <br />
