3 <br />C. LEASE APPROVAL FOR THE AGENCIES TO BE LOCATED AT 110 S. CHIIRTON ST. <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign leases with <br />JOCCA and Durham Technical College for space used for their programs at the <br />facility located at 110 S. Churton Street. JOCCA will lease for its JTPA <br />program approximately 230 square feet and Durham Tech will lease approximately <br />620 square feet. " <br />D. HOUSING REHABILITATION CONTRACT AWARDS <br />The Board approved two housing rehabilitation contracts for the <br />HOME Housing Rehabilitation Program as listed below: <br />DWELLING UNIT BID AMOUNT CONTRACTOR <br />#7 $ 26,885 Taylor Home Improvements <br />#9 $ 32,450 Orange-Chatham Home Repair <br />E. CLASSIFICATION PLAN AMENDMENT <br />The Board approved changing the salary grade assignment for the <br />class of Deputy County Clerk from Salary Grade 64 to Salary Grade 65 and added <br />the class of 4-H Program Assistant at Salary Grade 62. <br />F. LEASE AND FACILITIES AGREEMENT BETWEEN ORANGE COUNTY AND THE <br />FRIENDS OF THE CHAPEL HILL SENIOR CENTER <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a lease with <br />the Friends of the Chapel Hill Senior Center. During the term of this lease <br />which is July 1, 1993 to June 30, 1996, Friends shall pay County rent totaling <br />$79,332. <br />VOTE ON THE CONSENT AGENDA: UNANIMOUS <br />IV. RESOLUTIONS/PROCLAMATIONS <br />A. ORANGE COUNTY CITY OF DURHAM COURTESY REVIEW PROCESS <br />One change was made to the procedure as attached to the resolution <br />which said that transition areas will be reviewed by the staff and other areas <br />will be reviewed by the County Commissioners. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Insko to approve the resolution as amended and stated below: <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ORANGE COUNTY-CITY OF DURHAM <br />COURTESY REVIEW SYSTEM <br />FOR <br />INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT AND EXPANSION <br />WHEREAS the County of Orange and the City of Durham find it in their. mutual <br />best interests to establish a development review system that would: <br />a. Allow these local governments to keep each other informed of <br />development applications or other projects affecting the availability, <br />improvement or expansion of infrastructure typically associated with <br />the provision of urban services; and <br />b. Afford these local governments the opportunity to offer comments and <br />reactions to each other regarding such applications and provision of <br />
