7 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that on the 29th day of June, 1993, the Board of Commissioners <br /> hereby give their approval to Orange County's application for matching funds <br /> and technical assistance under the North Carolina Land Records Management <br /> Program (LRMP) , under provisions of N.C.G.S. 102-15 through 17; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that: <br /> 1. The application for grant assistance for FY 1993-94 be in the amount <br /> of $97,500. <br /> 2. Orange County has the necessary funds in its Capital Projects fund for <br /> FY 1993-94 to match the grant amount awarded under the LRMP and will <br /> assign said funds to this project upon notice of the award. <br /> 3. Orange County Government shares a willingness to participate in the <br /> LRMP and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. <br /> N. FIREWORKS PERMIT - TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL JULY 4 CELEBRATION <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a fireworks <br /> permit for the July 4, 1993 fireworks exhibition in Chapel Hill. <br /> O. CONTRACT RENEWAL - JAIL MEDICAL <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a contract with <br /> Orange Family Medical Group, P.A. through June 30, 1994 for a sum of $15,000 <br /> per year. <br /> P. LEASE RENEWAL - EFLAND RESCUE UNIT BUILDING <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a lease with <br /> the Efland Rescue Unit/Efland Volunteer Fire Company to use the Efland Rescue <br /> Unit Building for a sum of $1. 00 per year. One EMS ambulance is based at this <br /> location. <br /> Q. QUADRENNIAL REAL PROPERTY REVALUATION BUDGET <br /> The Board established a reserve fund budget of $60,000 for the next <br /> real property revaluation in Orange County. The first $15, 000 annual <br /> appropriation for this fund has been included in the Manager's Recommended <br /> 1993-94 budget. <br /> R. LEASE - SITE OF RADIO TOWER AT CEDAR GROVE FIRE STATION <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a lease with <br /> the Cedar Grove Fire Department for property to be used as the site of a radio <br /> tower. The lease is for 50 years at a cost of $1. 00 per year. <br /> S. LEASE RENEWAL - SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SITES <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign two leases for <br /> property that will be used as solid waste collection sites. The leases will <br /> be renewed for five years at a cost of $100 per month. One property is owned <br /> by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Walters and the other is owned by Mr. and Mrs. John <br /> Thomas Walker. <br /> T. ORANGE REGIONAL LANDFILL TIPPING FEE AND RECYCLING SERVICES <br />
