MINUTES <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve the minutes for April 15, 1993 as presented. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve the minutes for May 18, 1993 as presented. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve the minutes for May 24, 1993 as presented. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve the minutes for May 27, 1993 as presented. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Chair Carey to <br /> approve the minutes for June 7, 1993 as corrected. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> XIII. EXECUTIVE SESSION - LITIGATION AND PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Gordon to go into Executive Session to discuss litigation and property <br /> acquisition. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Chair Carey <br /> to adjourn the Executive Session and to reconvene into Regular Session. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to adopt the resolution stated below: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of Orange County <br /> hereby approves the expenditure by the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of Education <br /> of an amount of $1,850, 000 for the acquisition of a tract of land upon which <br /> the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of Education can construct a new high school. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> XIV.
