APPROVED 513193 MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> MARCH 8, 1993 <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in Regular Session on <br /> March 8, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at the Old White Cross School, Bingham Township, <br /> Chapel Hill, North Carolina. <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Vice-Chair Stephen Halkiotis, and <br /> Commissioners Alice M. Gordon, Verla C. Insko and Don Willhoit. <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONER ABSENT: Chair Moses Carey, Jr. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager John M. Link, Jr. , Assistant <br /> County Managers Albert Kittrell and Rod Visser, Deputy Clerk to the Board <br /> Kathy Baker, Public Works Assistant Director Mary Barbour, Clerk to the Board <br /> Beverly A. ADDITIONS OR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA - NONE <br /> II. AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> A. MATTERS ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br /> Vice-Chair Stephen Halkiotis indicated that those citizens who have <br /> indicated a desire to speak will be recognized at the appropriate time. <br /> B. MATTERS NOT ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br /> Patrick Mulkey welcomed the Board and everyone to Bingham Township. <br /> He commended the Board for taking the initiative to take their meetings to the <br /> different townships. He recognized the other members of the Township Advisory <br /> Council (TAC) who were in attendance. <br /> PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> Vice-Chair Halkiotis dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br /> III. ITEMS FOR DECISION--CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Gordon to approve those items on the Consent Agenda as stated below: <br /> A. ESTABLISH PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR 1993-98 CIP <br /> The Board set the public hearing on the CIP for March 23, 1993 at <br /> 7: 30 p.m. at the OWASA Meeting Room in Carrboro, North Carolina. <br />
