3 <br /> received through Section 18 of the Federal Transit Act of 1991; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Orange hereby assures and certifies that it will <br /> comply with the Federal Statutes, regulations, executive orders, the Special <br /> Section 13 (c) Warranty, and all administrative requirements which relate to <br /> the applications made to and grants received from the Federal Transit, as well <br /> as the provisions of Section 1001 of Title 18, U.S.C. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Chair of the Orange County <br /> Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized to submit a grant application for <br /> funding under Section 18 of the Federal Transit Act of 1991, make the <br /> necessary assurances and certifications and be empowered to enter into an <br /> agreement with the NCDOT to provide rural public transportation services. <br /> C. WHITTED FOREST ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW RECORD <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the Whitted <br /> Forest Environmental Review Record and the Request for Release of Funds and <br /> authorized the publication of a Combined Notice to the Public of No <br /> Significant Impact on the Environment and Request for Release of Funds in the <br /> Durham Morning Herald on or about January 7, 1993. <br /> D. VOLUNTARY AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT DESIGNATION BARBOUR <br /> PROPERTY <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the <br /> application of Stewart and Josephine Barbour for designation of their property <br /> on St. Mary's Road in Eno Township as a voluntary agricultural district. <br /> E. HANCOR, INC. REZONING <br /> The Board approved a zoning atlas amendment which rezoned 4.23 <br /> acres adjacent to Highway 70 to Light Industrial consistent with the remainder <br /> of the property owned by Hancor, Inc. <br /> F. CHANGE IN MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> The Board approved a change in the regular meeting schedule as <br /> stated below: <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 153A-40(a) requires the Board of <br /> County Commissioners to fix the time and place of its regular meetings; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the place of the regular <br /> meeting scheduled for February 1, 1993, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners that the February 1, 1993 regular meeting shall be held at the <br /> Caldwell Community Building, Highway 157 in Rougemont, North Carolina (Little <br /> River Township) at 7: 30 p.m. <br /> VOTE ON THE CONSENT AGENDA: UNANIMOUS <br /> IV.
