Renewal of Leases--JOCCA, Community School for People Under Sig <br />and Wake Opportunities (Head start) <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign leases for <br />three years beginning July 1, 1992 through June 30, 1995 for the following <br />agencies: <br />(1) Wake Opportunities (Head Start); located at Northern Human <br />Services Center, Cedar Grove <br />(2) JOCCA-Cedar Grove Day Care; located at Northern Human <br />Services Center, Cedar Grove <br />(3) JOCCA - Nutrition site at Southern Human Services Center, <br />Chapel Hill <br />(4) community School for People Under Six; located at Southern <br />Human Services Center (Northside), Chapel Hill <br />AA. Lease Renewal--Efland Rescue Unit Building <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the lease <br />renewal between the Efland Rescue Unit, Efland Volunteer Fire Company, <br />Inc. and Orange County for the building used as the Efland Rescue Unit <br />Building in Efland, North Carolina. The County pays $1.00 per year. <br />BB. Moving Offices to Government Services Center--Authorization to <br />Close Register of Deeds Office to the Public on August 3-4, <br />1992 <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign an order <br />to close the Register of Deeds office on August 3-4, 1992 so offices may <br />be relocated to 200 South Cameron Street in Hillsborough. <br />CC. Contract Renewal--Jail Medical <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a contract <br />with Orange Family Medical Group, P.A. for jail medical services through <br />June 30, 1993 for a sum of $13,200 per year. <br />DD. Lease Renewal--ArtsCenter <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a lease <br />with the ArtsCenter in Carrboro for space used as a Senior Citizens Center <br />at a cost of $13,632 a year. This renewal is for an additional five year <br />term. <br />EE. Renewal Application for Elderly and Disabled Transportation <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the <br />certified statement which will allow continuation in the N.C. Department <br />of Transportation's Elderly and Disabled Transportation Assistance program <br />and the Medicaid Assistance Program (MTAP) for pregnant women and <br />children. The voluntary program will provide a total of $26,679 to the <br />Orange County CAT Program for FY92-93 with $23,951 for EDTAP and $2,728 <br />for MTAP . <br />FF.
