Agreement Between Orange County and the University of North <br />Carolina Hospitals for Social Worker I <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign an <br />agreement between Orange County and the University of North Carolina <br />Hospitals for a Social Worker I to provide certification and counseling <br />services eight (8) hours per week at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. <br />R. Legal Services for Adult and Children's Protective Services <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the <br />contract with Northen, Blue, Little, Rooks, Thibaut & Anderson to provide <br />legal services for Adult and Children's Protective Services. <br />8. Agreement Between orange County and IINC Hospitals for Medicaid <br />Caseworkers <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign an <br />agreement with UNC Hospitals for two hospital based Medicaid Intake <br />Caseworkers. UNCH reimburses Orange County 100 of the County' share of <br />the salaries and benefits involved in maintaining these workers at the <br />hospital, plus 10$ of the salary and benefits of a full-time supervisor. <br />T. Employee Assistance Program Contract Renewal <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the <br />employee Assistance Program contract with Human Affairs International for <br />the period July 1, 1992 through June 30, 1993. The cost per employee per <br />month is $1.63. <br />II. Resubmission of Opportunities for Families (OFF) Proposal <br />The Board approved submission of the Opportunities for Families <br />Fund proposal to various foundations for funding and authorized the Chair <br />to sign these proposals. <br />V. Home and Community Care Block Grant Agreement <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign an <br />agreement with Triangle J Council of Governments to receive Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant Funds. This grant requires the County to sign <br />an agreement with the Area Agency to receive "pass through" grant funding <br />from the state. <br />W. Fireworks Permit--Town of Chapel Hill July 4 Celebration <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a fireworks <br />permit for the Town of Chapel Hill for July 4, 1992. The event will be <br />held at Kenan Stadium on the evening of July 4, 1992. <br />%. Lease--Visitor Bureau <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a six-month <br />lease with E & D Unlimited for office space to be used by the Visitor <br />Bureau. The cost is .$511.46 monthly. Funding for the lease is included <br />in the Visitor Bureau Fund in the 1992-93 Manager's Recommended Budget. <br />Y. Lease Renewal--Moody Building <br />
