North Carolina Land Records Grant Program Application <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a <br />resolution of participation in the State's Land Records Management Grant <br />Program. <br />J. Fair Housing Plan IIpdate <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the Fair <br />Housing Plan Update which is required of all participants in the N. C. <br />Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />R. HOME Consortium Agreement/Program Design <br />The Board approved the HOME Consortium Agreement, Resolution <br />and Program Design and authorized the County Manager to sign the <br />Agreement. <br />L. Changes to Landfill Tipping Fee Schedule <br />The Board approved the following two changes in the Landfill <br />Tipping Fee: <br />Increase from $21/ton to $21.50/ton for mixed solid waste <br />Set a fee of $1.00 for scrap tire disposal <br />M. Personnel Ordinance Revision--Merit Increases <br />The Board approved a revision to Article V, Section 7 "Merit <br />Increase" of the Orange County Personnel Ordinance to reflect the merit <br />increase program budgeted for Fiscal Year 1992-93. This revision is <br />attached to these minutes on pages . <br />N. School Bond Referendum--Notice of Intent to File Application <br />with Local Government Commission <br />The Board approved the Bond Referendum timetable as presented, <br />adopted the resolution which is the "Notice of Intent" and authorized the <br />Clerk to publish it as required. <br />O. Injury Prevention Grants <br />The Board accepted and authorized the Chair to sign the grant <br />award from the Injury Control Section of the Department of Environment, <br />Health, and Natural Resources. The grant of $6,720 will be subcontracted <br />to the Dispute Settlement Center. No County funds will be required. <br />P. Professional Service Contract--ONC School of Medicine, <br />Department of OB/GYN <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign a contract <br />with the UNC-School of Medicine, Department of OB/GYN for the services of <br />a third-year resident to provide medical services in the Maternal Health <br />Clinic. The terms of the contract are the same as the previous year and <br />the funds to cover the expenditure have been included in the 1992-93 <br />budget. <br />
