He noted that a glass crusher would reduce <br />the amount that was deposited in the landfill thereby increasing the capacity <br />of the landfill. Commissioner Willhoit moved to empower the Chair to <br />contact the Mayors of Chapel Hill and Carrboro to suggest that funds -• <br />from the landfill reserve fund be used to purchase a glass crusher for <br />the Bay Scouts' Recycling Project and that those Towns consider this possibility; <br />Commissioner Whitted seconded the motion.
